Ethics and Trust in Finance Award Ceremony

The Ethics and Trust in Finance Award Ceremony will be held on Thursday 18 November 2021, 5:00pm -7:00 pm CET/ 10:00am – 12:00pm CST. The prestigious awards are given to the best creative papers with analyses and proposals for innovative ways to promote ethics and trust in finance. The Jury for the award also allocates the prize money of US$20,000 among the winners. The competition spans the globe, has run since 2006, and produced a global network of former Prize winners.

The Prize is a project of the Observatoire de la Finance (Geneva), a non-profit foundation, working since 1996 on the relationship between the ethos of financial activities and its impact on society. The Observatoire aims to raise awareness of the need to pursue the common good through reconciling the good of persons, organizations, and community.

The mission of the Prize is to produce innovative ideas for promoting ethics and integrity in the finance sector. The Prize reaches out to young people to attract new ideas, proposals and projects in the banking, finance, and investment sectors, particularly in emerging markets. In turn, these ideas can be promoted to major players in the business community, with the hope of securing trust and integrity as foundations of quality management in banking and finance. Ultimately, the Prize should: (1) strengthen the sustainability of ethics in banking and finance and (2) promote greater awareness among the young throughout the world, of the benefits of ethics in finance.
